Dearest Companions,
The SDI Staff went on a staff retreat last week, and we had occasion to reflect on our work, and this wonderful community we are a part of. We want to take this moment to extend our most profound and sincere gratitude to you all! We are truly honored and inspired by the opportunity to be in communion with you, as we all collectively lift up the calling of spiritual direction and companionship and offer it to the world. The deep spiritual connections and learnings we have built together with you mean more to us than we can possible express.
Over the last 12 months, together with the invaluable assistance of many of you, we have built up a portfolio of free community engagements, ranging from a variety of sessions on many topics of interest to SDs and SCs, Group Spiritual Direction, standalone 1-hour preview sessions, spiritual journaling, new member onboarding sessions, and special affinity groups (BIPOC, LGBTQ+, SD Formation Programs and SC Mentoring Initiatives gatherings, and more).
We intend to further increase these offerings and platforms so that everyone who is an SDI member has the chance to participate in growing measures on this path we are travelling together. Here are some of our upcoming invitations to you all, with many more to come!
