Essence 2023 - Participant Survey

Thank you for participating in the 2023 Essence Conference – our second hybrid conference – in Madison, Wisconsin, or virtually.

Your experience and feedback helps SDI create educational events that meet your needs. We have made many changes and adjustments in recent years in response to your feedback.

You will find several mini-evaluations contained within this evaluation, since some people participate in everything and some only participate in the conference. If you did not participate in one of the programs, simply choose “no” when asked if you participated.

Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available for participants. You can request a participation certificate by contacting [email protected].

SDI provided box lunches during the conference, which meant that meals were ready for participants on-time, and required minimal food handling. Registrations for lunch was requested prior to the conference. If you have comments about the lunches provided, please do so here.

SDI offered morning meditations facilitated by Sean Murphy, and three evening group spiritual direction sessions facilitated by Matt Whitney. If you have comments on either or both of these offerings, or the contemplative sessions offered by SDI, please do so here.
