Free Gathering – A Weaving of Ancestral and Earth-Honoring Wisdom
Join kinfolk Elsa and Tamira for an open dialogue centering ancestral connection and relationship as an internal and community resource. They will share threads of how their ancestral connections have supported them in building authentic relationships with other sentient beings while also co-weaving in their experiences of learning to stay open and available to deep learning, staying present in moments of discomfort and all of the feelings and emotions that arise in the human experience.

Tamira Cousett is both a student and medium of ancestral and earth-honoring wisdom who is committed to centering personal wellness in service to greater cultural healing. She is the beloved grandchild of West African, British & Irish peoples with deep southern roots.
Her Ori (destiny) & spiritual path have conspired to guide her towards studying emergent and embodied ancestral liberation and healing practices, Brazilian earth-honoring traditions and of West African Ifa Òrìṣà tradition. These paths of practice are the foundation of her ritual training and development and continue to shape the contours of the ritual containers and embodied practices that she co-weaves with Spirit and her incarnate kin.
She holds the medicines of ancestral and earth-honoring wisdom with deep reverence and respect for the ways these medicines nourish her life and affirm the interconnectedness and importance of all of our sentient kin-folk seated within the vast web of relations. She is dedicated to co-weaving decolonized, reverence filled ritual containers and intergenerational ancestral connections across space and time. She is honored to co-weave containers and connections which facilitate transformation, healing and celebrate all forms of ancestral diversity through embodied practice and song.
