Creating Safe Space on the Margins

As spiritual directors, we know the value of sharing our life story as expressed through word and art. For people on the margins, the story is sometimes shared in small broken pieces, but we trust that a beautiful mosaic of life is being created.

Providing opportunities for men and women recovering from addiction, mental illness, and homelessness to explore their spirituality is a ministry of healing and wholeness.

Sometimes the greater challenge is learning to work with the agencies and recovery-centered programs. This webinar will offer ways to connect with– and navigate through–the systems that are in place and share curriculum topics that will guide individuals in sharing their story.
