“Your intentions create your reality.”
– Dr. Wayne W. Dwyer
Begin 2020 as you mean to continue — with heart-resonant intentions as your guide. These are not like New Year’s resolutions you make and forget. These are sacred intentions for living that you discern, explore and embrace for yourself.
This 90-minute webinar is designed to help you live more consciously and compassionately. It offers experiential learning designed for people of all spiritual traditions and inclinations. Led by the internationally-renown Interfaith Amigos, it will offer an invitation to discern and explore what calls to you.
The Amigos, Imam Jamal Rahman, Rabbi Ted Falcon and Rev. Don MacKenzie, explain it this way:
“Sacred Intentions guide and support our spiritual evolution. We invite you to develop clearer and more effective spiritual intentions for the year.” Please have ready a journal or other writing materials to be used during this special event.
All three presenters are spiritual directors and they will be sharing practical wisdom for spiritual companions about the role intention can play in spiritual companionship.
If you like practical spiritual wisdom, and you relish the opportunity to chart your own course, this webinar is for you. It will not only challenge you to be a better human being, it will show you concrete steps to take as you discern your own path.
During this webinar you will:
- Discern between form and essence – the visible and the invisible – when it comes to naming your desires and intentions
- Be invited to move toward an attitude of “service without calculation”
- Create individualized sacred intentions that invite you to live “in the bazaar of life” without feeling separate from God, or however you term of the ground of all being.
Please join us. And if you do, please be ready to laugh, listen, discover and perhaps cry a little – for our tears are metaphors for our hearts over-flowing – and this webinar will invite you to fill the cup of your heart to the brim.
Presenters
Imam Jamal Rahman, Rabbi Ted Falcon and Pastor Don MacKenzie came together following the tragedy of 9/11/2001. Their work together became a calling, challenging them to move beyond untold centuries of separation and pain to realize their common ground of spiritual teaching. Since then, they have brought their unique blend of spiritual wisdom and humor to audiences all over the U.S., as well as Canada, Israel-Palestine, and Japan. Their work is dedicated to supporting more effective interfaith dialogue that can bring greater collaboration on the major social and economic issues of our time. Their books include, Getting to the Heart of Interfaith (2009), Religion Gone Astray (2011), and Finding Peace Through Spiritual Practice (2016). They are currently working on their fourth book, Beyond Interfaith: Why Religion Has Failed and What We Can Do About It. Further information about their work can be found at their website, www.InterfaithAmigos.com.
We welcome all people of all abilities and all traditions on this journey.
