Profile Details

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies with a minor in Psychology from Naropa University. I also completed a two-year Spiritual Direction training through Sirat-i Inayat Sufi Path, which included over 30 hours of direct practice with individuals and groups, and a two-year program to become an ordained Cherag (Sufi minister) also through Sirat-i Inayat, which included training in spiritual counseling.

I’ve spent the past decade on a path of inward exploration, supported by consistent meditation, prayer, and other contemplative practices, discovering more about myself and the patterns that shape how I relate to others and the world. This combination of education, training, and personal work has given me tools to better understand and normalize the human experience, and to meet others with depth and compassion.

I understand the value of being witnessed, and I offer that space to others. Authentic connection and spiritual companionship can be deeply healing, helping us feel seen and heard in ways that are often rare.

As we deepen our relationship with the Divine, however that is experienced, and with ourselves, we begin to relate differently to others and to the conditions of life.

My background is primarily rooted in Sufism, alongside years of experience with yoga and Buddhism. I have also studied and explored other traditions, including Earth-based paths, Hinduism, Judaism, Christianity, Islam, New Thought, New Age spirituality, Agnosticism, and Atheism. Sufism, in particular, emphasizes the development of the whole human being; cultivating presence, awareness, and the capacity to meet life as it is. Buddhist teachings have shaped my understanding of compassion as something that naturally arises through awareness, while yoga has deepened my understanding of embodiment and working with emotions held in the body.

These practices have supported me in turning inward and discovering what was previously unseen, giving me more choice in how I respond to life. Spiritual Direction offers a space where the human experience can be explored alongside one’s relationship with the Divine.

My approach is gentle, open, and curious. I offer a welcoming space and serve as an authentic mirror for self-discovery.

I work with adults of all ages, although I’m especially drawn to working with younger adults and teenagers who are seeking to deepen their spiritual life and connection to their own sense of the Divine.

If this feels like a good fit for you or someone you know, please don’t hesitate to reach out or send along my information.
