Join SDI co-founder Lucy Abbott Tucker at our post-conference retreat at Holy Wisdom Monastery, for an oppportunity to gather with other spiritual directors and companions, to reflect and discern on the conference’s rich offerings, and to recommit to our calling and to our ever continuing growth.
About
Holy Wisdom Monastery is an ecumenical Benedictine community of communities, located near Madison, Wisconsin. Prayer, hospitality, justice and respect for all of creation form the heart of these communities. Their peaceful setting includes restored prairie, a retreat and guest house and a ‘green’ monastery building.Â

Retreat Leader
Lucy Abbott Tucker has been a member of SDI since its inception. She began her ministry of spiritual direction at the Institute for Spiritual Leadership, Chicago. She worked there preparing women and men for the ministry for 32 years. Since 2015 she has been doing freelance work in spiritual direction and supervision. She believes spiritual direction has the power to help heal our world and values the opportunity to support spiritual directors in this work.
SDI Co-Host
Marisa Sterling is the Membership Services Coordinator at SDI. She supports SDI’s members worldwide with efficiency and dedication. She has a degree in Environmental Studies. She loves to help people get their questions answered and enjoys being a part of the SDI team. In addition to her role here, Marisa is working on attaining her commercial pilot license.

Holy Wisdom Monastery’s mission is to weave prayer, hospitality, justice and care for the earth into a shared way of life. They offer a variety of services to help people integrate Benedictine spirituality into their everyday life.

A bus will pick up attendees near the convention center after the conclusion of conference activities on the evening of Saturday, May 6.Â
Dinner will be provided that night for those attending the retreat.
