Having lived most of his adolescent and young adult life militantly Atheist, his curiosity regarding spirituality only started in the context of 12-step, Buddhist, and LGBTQ+ addiction recovery. Not long after he started exploring the unfamiliar waters of spirituality, he fell face-first into the deeply fascinating teachings of the world's mystical traditions, and has refused to come up for air ever since!
