Profile: As a spiritual director, I am committed to supporting individuals from all religious and spiritual backgrounds, particularly those who identify as "spiritual but not religious," as well as young people, students, and adults navigating life's complexities. My practice is deeply informed by Ignatian and Benedictine spiritual traditions, focusing on vocational discernment and religious/spiritual identity. With over a decade of experience in meditation and contemplative prayer, I draw upon practices from both Christian and Buddhist traditions. My approach emphasizes the power of silence, using it to foster deeper reflection and self-awareness. In our sessions, I create a space for you to explore your spiritual identity, vocation, and the questions that are most meaningful to you. Together, we engage in a process of contemplative meaning-making, helping you find clarity and connection in your life. I hold a Master of Divinity from Harvard Divinity School and am currently pursuing a Certificate in Spiritual Direction at Loyola University Chicago. My work is also shaped by my time living in the intentional community at the Abbaye de Bonnevaux in rural France, where I deepened my practice of Christian meditation and understanding the Rule of St. Benedict. Influenced by the teachings of Thomas Merton, Teresa of Avila, Howard Thurman, Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel, and many others, I integrate a wide range of spiritual insights to meet you where you are on your journey.
