Profile: Don't we all long for someone to listen to us deeply, without judgment? In every season of our lives we can find ourselves asking questions of vocation and identity. We may ask, who am I and what am I meant to be doing? We may wrestle with our faith and struggle with our doubts. We may not be able to name what we want but thirst for a deepening of our relationship with the Divine. My desire is to be an attentive presence and provide a safe space where you can discover all you are called to be and do; where you can take a breath, slow down and listen for the voice of God’s Spirit, sometimes noticed as a stirring deep inside you. I am rooted in the Christian tradition, which grounds me and helps me to sit with all as an act of generous hospitality. I am equally comfortable hosting others one-on-one, in groups or facilitating workshops and retreats. It can be helpful to know about someone’s background. I humbly offer you mine: I hold a Masters in Spiritual Formation and a Spiritual Direction Certificate from Portland Seminary. My professional background is in career counselling and student affairs in post-secondary institutions. I am a certified Myers Briggs (MBTI) practitioner and an enneagram enthusiast. I find these tools are helpful pathways to relational transformation with self and others but they are only tools that I hold lightly. Outside of paid employment, I have spent 25 plus years working as a volunteer with youth and raised three children who are now adults. I am also a grandma! I enjoy being behind a camera and am partial to Indian curries, (my heritage) and cheesecake, (not my heritage!) I look forward to accompanying you in whatever season you may find yourself.
